COST E21 puts the emphasis on the quantification of carbon storage in
the forest ecosystems and on the understanding of linkages between human
activities and climate change, particularly the role of forests and forestry.
The COST Action E21 will integrate natural, socio-economic as well as methodological
aspects of cross-sectoral issues relevant for reporting and
decision-making at the EU level.
