Questionnaire on incentives for GHG mitigation activities in agriculture and forestry

As part of the EU-funded project CarboInvent (www.joanneum.at/carboinvent), we are carrying out a survey on incentives for the implementation of climate-change mitigation activities in agriculture and forestry. This survey is NOT RESTRICTED to countries that are Parties to the Kyoto Protocol. While our survey concentrates on Annex I countries under the UNFCCC, we also welcome any submissions that cover non-Annex I countries. The results will be useful for decision makers in government and industry.

We would highly appreciate it if you would help us by filling in the following questionnaire. It will take between 30 and 60 minutes to answer the questions for each programme that is of relevance.

Please find below a survey that has already been compiled of afforestation and reforestation related programmes/incentives. Should your contribution already be covered there, please check it for completeness (relating to the questionnaire) and correctness and submit such feedback to us.

Please return your answers by March 11th.

The easiest way to fill out the questionnaire is to use the below-mentioned WORD-document and send it back via e-mail to:
irene.urstoeger@stud.uni-graz.at

Alternatively, you can print out the document, fill it out and send it back via regular mail or fax to

If you require extra space to some questions, please do so by including additional pages after the questionnaire. Please make reference to the appropriate question number.

As a participant, you will receive the results before public release in early May 2005.

If you have any questions or comments about this questionnaire, please contact Irene Urstoeger.

We highly appreciate your help with this survey!
