Intelligent Information Systems
Information is considered to be the key resource in the twenty-first century. With its about 50 members of staff, the Institute develops new methods designed to organise the constantly growing flood of data and to selectively filter out the desired information.
The Institut of Information Systems acts as a leading software provider and research partner in the fields of culture, media and security. The integration of the Institute for Networked Media allows a concentrated co-operation of the "old" INM with already in the "old" IIS existing activities in the field of media.
The great strength of the Institute is the tight co-operation of these three areas of research - for today the digital world no longer consists of numbers, text and pictures alone, but is also intensely influenced by audiovisual media.
The arising results are new technologies and methods that help us search for and, above all, find content easily and allow for critical analysis of electronic media.
Backed up by experience gained in numerous national and international projects, the Institute creates tailor-made solutions for its clients.
