Development and construction of all electro-mechanical systems within the Institute of Digital Image Processing as well as educating the trainee.

Career

After getting the Austrian general qualification for university entrance combined with a successfully finished apprenticeship as an electrician and electronic mechanist at the college of industry called "Gewerbe-BORG Bad Radkersburg" and completing the military service afterwards, Ing. Heimo Pilz has been working as an electrician for industry and at private construction sites for two years, gathering much practical experience. That was followed by an education at the college of electronics called BULME in the city of Graz resulting in the degree of an electronic engineer ("Ing."). After that he was employed 8 years at EFKON AG, NXP and MAGNA Steyr always within the testengineering departments especially participating in the development of electrical test equipment for production testing for PCBs, IC's and final goods.
