Career

Alfred Rinnhofer was awarded a MSc (electrical and biomedical engineering) by the University of Technology, Graz for his master thesis "Simulation of Re-Entry circuits in the excitation of the human heart".

He works as a research engineer and project manager with JOANNEUM RESEARCH, Institute for Digital Image Processing since 1991. As head of the line scan and wood inspection group he was the manager of several national and international projects. Several papers and presentations are the scientific output of this work.

Areas of special interests are: real time image processing and non-traditional sensor systems.
