Dr. Martina URAY was awarded a M.Sc. in Technical Mathematics (branch Techno-Mathematics) in 2003 by the Graz University of Technology for her master thesis "A mathematical model for automatic punch-typing in immunhistochemistry (TMA-Analysis)". At the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision (branch Informatics, also TU-Graz) she received a Ph.D. in 2008 for her dissertation "Incremental, Robust, and Efficient Linear Discriminant Analysis Learning". Her areas of interest are medical imaging, biometrics, object recognition and learning. In September 2008 she joined the JOANNEUM RESEARCH Institute of Digital Image Processing where she became head of the field "human-centered image processing". Martina Uray has already published 14 papers within her scope of research. |
