Long-term and illegal parkers at customer parking areas block the limit available parking lots and cause a drop in sales. Up to now an observation of a parking area without a parking lot barrier is only possible with high personnel costs. Additionally there is also the requirement for observation of fire apparatus access roads, drive-in roads, and short-term parking zones (e.g. loading zones).

The image data is processed by the software system which automatically detects arrival time and length of stay of cars.
