Main Responsibilities Career
Franz Graf attended a technical secondary school specialising in electronics and control engineering.
He studied Electrical Engineering with specialisation in acoustics and audio-engineering at Graz University of Technology and the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz.
During his study, he worked as a freelancer at the Austrian Broadcoast Corporation.
In 1999 he awarded a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering for his master thesis "Development of a recording system for psychoacoustic analysis".
Since 1999 manager of the group "Intelligent Acoustic Solutions" (together with Maria Fellner).
Besides his work he completed a doctoral study at Graz University of Technology. His doctoral thesis "Design and implementation of a system for an automatic classification of acoustic signals" dealt with the automatic identification of acoustic signals with statistical models and methods of artifcial intelligence.
2002 he received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering.
He is inventor of several patents in the field of acoustic measurement techniques and digital signal processing.
Awards
Project manager of "AKUT - Acoustic tunnel monitoring", which has won the National Award for Telematics 2006.
