Main Responsibilities

  • Project work in wave propagation experiments for the Europeansatellite navigation network Galileo, mobile communications, image processing and multi-media,
  • Webmaster and designer of several sites,
  • Technical documentation; poster and folder design,
  • Responsible for IT affairs.

Career

After completing the Plansee highscool in 1982, a vocational branch with supplementary education in metallurgy, in 1983 he started studies of Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering and Economy) at the Graz University of Technology.
Besides this he began to work as a design engineer in the field of test bed technology and facility automation (self-employed).
In 1992 he joined the JOANNEUM RESEARCH Institute of Applied Systems Technology and is working for the radar and navigation group since then.
He took further training in the field of web-based client/server applications and web programming.
Since reorganisation in 2010 employed at DIGITAL - Institute for Information and Communication Technologies - area Space and Acoustics.
In 2011 degree as Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Currently academic studies of Automation Technology and Economy.
