Main responsibilities - Analysis of microwave propagation in buildings and in the troposphere
Career
After completing the master’s program in computer science and telecommunications at Graz University of Technology (TUG), Franz Teschl investigated scattering of microwaves from frozen precipitation particles at the Weather Radar Research Group of TUG and JOANNEUM RESEARCH and wrote his doctoral thesis on this topic.
He is author/co-author of several publications in conference proceedings and in scientific journals mainly dealing with the analysis of weather radar- and 2D-Video-Distrometer data.
Since October 2007 Franz Teschl is research scientist at the Institute of Applied Systems Technology.
