The methods and software solutions developed in the field of industrial image processing save time and money during the production process, ensure a consistently high quality of product and bring a range of other advantages. Information derived from remote sensing data from satellites or aeroplanes also provides valuable input into the decision-making process for solving environmental or land use problems and assists in recognising natural disasters quickly.
