The experts have recourse to the most modern technology, such as structured light, line scan and metric scan cameras, digital photogrammetry and mobile mapping to obtain two and three dimensional information from images in real time.
Here the range of services extends from feasibility studies right through to turnkey measurement and testing systems, which are sold worldwide through marketing cooperations with national and international industrial partners.
Remote sensing
The experts at the Institute have many years of experience in analysing image data recorded by sensor systems on board aeroplanes or satellites as well as video images acquired by mobile mapping systems. Using the technologies for geometrical image processing and advanced image analysis developed here, the condition of our environment can be comprehensively recorded and monitored on the basis of these data. Innovative methods of visualisation and animation are used to depict complex spatial relationships and to design multimedia information systems.
