3rd Congress of the Alps Adria Acoustics Association

The 3rd Congress of the Alps Adria Acoustics Association will be held in September 27-28, 2007 in Graz - Austria. 80 papers will be presented from voice acoustics and speech processing to aircraft noise and ultrasound.

This congress will be aiming at bringing together scientists from Slovenia, Croatia, Austria and other south-eastern European countries in order to improve the cooperation between the national societies of the countries in this region. On two days of the congress national and international experts are scheduled to present about 80 papers on the activities in all fields of acoustics in the Alps Adria region and beyond.

The Alps Adria Acoustics Association was founded in 2002 as a new regional association by the acoustical societies of Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. The goal of the association is to promote all fields of research in acoustics in the whole Alps-Adria region and beyond, as well as to improve the cooperation between the national societies of the countries in this region.

Organizing institution of this congress is JOANNEUM RESEARCH on behalf of the Alps Adria Acoustics Association. The organisation is done by the "Intelligent Acoustic Solutions" group of the institute of Applied Systems Technology. The congress will be an official EAA symposium as well.
