„Water resources and their management – The importance of networking“
On April 22nd and 23rd the International Conference of Kompetenznetzwerk Wasserressourcen GmbH takes place in the Great hall of Graz University of Technology.
Kompetenznetzwerk Wasserressourcen GmbH develops together with 79 business and research partners in 45 single projects (Work Packages) in six different key research areas (net nodes), innovative and integrative solutions for improved water resources management. These thematic key aspects are defined as net nodes:
NN 1: Water Management in Valley and Basin Systems
NN 2: Sustained Water Supply in Mountain Areas
NN 3: Water and Health
NN 4: Water in Underground Mining and Power Station Construction
NN 5: Net Product Chain Management of Water Resources
NN 6: Utilization of Ground Water for Agriculture and Industry
On the international conference the achievements and matters of work are presented and discussed in form of lectures of selected projects as soon as poster presentations. The conference program is rounded off by international lectures concerning the topics of strategies on networks as well as international networking under the focus of water resources management.
