EINSTEIN workshop "Intelligent industrial heat supply"
Invitation to the EINSTEIN workshop on "Intelligent industrial heat supply", 17. February 2009 in Brussels
JOANNEUM RESEARCH is coordinator of the IEE project EINSTEIN which is a methodology that works out energy efficient solutions for production processes based on energy saving and renewable energy sources:
- A new fast audit tool for thermal energy optimisation
- Integral solutions for efficient industrial thermal energy supply by renewables
- Heat recovery by an optimised heat exchanger network
- Audits in companies that are financially supported by the project
- Training courses for the new EINSTEIN audit methodology.
The continuous increase of fuel and gas costs leads to higher production costs in all industry sectors. Reducing the energy demand and replacing fossil fuels by renewable energy sources is the best way to strengthen the competitiveness of companies. EINSTEIN will guide companies on that way towards an efficient and sustainable production process.
In order to ensure a wide impact on energy and costs reduction through EINSTEIN and to inform stakeholders of the project results so far, a workshop is being organised on Tuesday 17. February 2009 in Brussels.
The aim of this workshop is to give European trade and SMEs associations, policy makers and members of national energy agencies an overview of the project, its aims and the outcomes so far. EINSTEIN is a newly developed expert system to improve energy efficiency in heat systems in industry and SMEs. Ideas are developed how EINSTEIN can support the work of different stakeholders all over Europe.
Please find the workshop brochure attached (agenda, a registration form and directions on how to get to meeting venue).
