SALERO and 2020 3D Media successfull at IBC 2009

The Institute of Information Systems presented two of its EU-funded projects, SALERO and 2020 3D Media, at Europe's largest broadcaster convention IBC 2009 (Sept. 11-15, Amsterdam).

The interest in the research results of both SALERO (tools from the areas of semantic annotation and search, character animation and analysis and synthesis of emotional speech) and 2020 3D Media (omnidirectional video recording, depth capture, content management and post-production for multi-view content and satellite based distribution of stereographic content) was formidable.

For the first time the annual review of SALERO took place during the IBC.
