Professional Career

Ralf Knauss studied process engineering at Graz University of Technology. In his diploma thesis, he  first described the effect of increase of yield at reactive separation process, realized by liquid-liquid extraction. In 2004 he finally graduated with excellence. From 2005 on, he worked as project staff at Graz University of Technology in cooperation with M&R-Holding company for the development of a NMPC-controller concept (NMPC: Nonlinear Model Predictive Control). After successful implementation of the concept at industrial applications, he as research assistent concentrated himself on development of Modular Micro Rectification. Finally having received his doctorate with excellence in 2009, he worked as project manager at a production company.
