Career
Michael Tauber studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology Graz with the emphasis on biochemistry and biotechnology. In 2003 he completed his PhD thesis entitled "Untersuchungen zur Verfahrensentwicklung zum oxidativen Abbau von ausgewählten Azofarbstoffen“. Until 2009 he worked for a company (biogas and industrial services) as head of R&D and project management. Since February 2010 he works in the research group of Plant materials sciences and utilisation of the RESOURCES institute being responsible for different projects comprising mainly alternative fuel and utilisation of renewable plant raw materials.
Additionally he is lecturer at a chemical engineering school in Graz.
His scientific expertise covers analytical chemistry (GC, LC, MS, NIR), biogas and biochemistry/biotechnology. He has published 10 papers mainly in enzymetechnology and dyedegradation. |
