The journal "Beiträge zur Hydrogeologie" (Contributions to Hydrogeology), the oldest hydrogeological journal in the German-speaking countries, is published in cooperation with the Austrian Association for Hydrogeology. It is highly renowned in the international scientific community. Publication of the journal started in 1949 (first under the title "Beiträge zu einer Hydrogeologie Steiermarks", from 1958 to 1993 as "Steirische Beiträge zur Hydrogeologie" and since 1994 under its present name "Beiträge zur Hydrogeologie"). Contributions to the journal are subject to a peer review by an international scientific advisory board.
