Carbon Accounting Module

The Carbon Accounting Module integrates the quantitative analyses that are necessary to prepare a Project Idea Note. These include relatively simple assessments of the baseline and with-project scenarios. It will combine with the land suitability and economic analyses, and the social and environmental impact and institutional assessments to complete the pre-feasibility study.
This module contains a Checklist for A/R CDM Project Developers, which is set up in such a way that it can be used in both PIN and PDD writing stages for both small scale and normal size A/R CDM project activities. The checklist points to information sources, formats to be used, and issues to be addressed. This checklist, however, is not intended to cover an exhaustive list of aspects of A/R CDM project development.
Most of the issues addressed here are covered in the Encofor Decision Support System (Encofor Design DSS).
