The Legal Module summarises the main legal issues that need to be
taken into consideration when developing an A/R CDM project activity.
The document also helps unspecialised legal counsels identify the
main issues when structuring an A/R CDM project legally and drafting
and negotiating the sale of the ensuing carbon credits.
This tool is divided into two sections:
• The first part summarises the main legal
issues that will come up in any A/R CDM project.
• The second part provides a checklist indicating
at which point in the development of an A/R CDM project contractual
and legal considerations need to take place.
