Galileo Interference Measurement Campaign (RTNW)

For the operation of the European Satellite Navigation System Galileo the world radio council has assigned a number of protected frequency bands in the frequency range from 1.1 to 1.6 GHz. In order to assess the amount of interference in these bands as well as for the determination of spillover from neighbouring bands the level of interference has been measured in several European countries. Where possible, found interferes were identified and described by their main signal characteristics. Furthermore high resolution and high speed recordings were performed in the baseband. The developed receiver has been installed on a van.
