Career

Merima Cajlakovic studied Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineereing at the University of Maribor in Slovenia. She finished study with a diploma thesis ? Time arrangement of batch production using a net of states and tasks with program GAMS?. She continued post-graduated study at the Faculty of Chemistry in Ljubljana in Slovenia on the field of Analytical Chemistry with a topic Sol-gel Optical Sensors for determination of hydrogen peroxide and pH. In the period of her Master´s degree she spent in the frame of Deutschen Akademischen Austausch Dienstes one year at the Institute of Chemo-and Biosensors in Regensburg, Germany.

Since spring 2004 she is employed as a research scientist at the Institute of Chemical Process Development and Control. She deals with Opto-chemical gas Sensors (O2 and CO2) and is working on her Dissertation within this field.
