Career

Studied Software Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Hagenberg, graduated in 2005 with the thesis 'Implementation of a Mass Importer for a Digital Media Asset Management System', written in cooperation with the Austrian film production company Brains & Pictures. Joined JOANNEUM RESEARCH in 2006 and is working in research projects of the Intelligent Information Systems and Audiovisual Media groups. Rene is also a member of the Wissensmanagement Forum Graz and a PhD student at the TU Graz since 2008. Gained experience from European research projects NM2, APOSDLE, TA2 und FascinatE amongst other activities.
