Career

Harald Schlemmer studied Telematics at the Technical University of Graz, Masters degree since 1998. Diploma thesis at the Dept. of Communications in cooperation with the Institute of Applied Systems Technology of Joanneum Research (implementation of an SNMP agent for a video-codec). At IAS, Harald is employed since October 1999 (R&D in the field of Satellite and LMDS systems with focus on access schemes and synchronisation of MF-TDMA devices, real-time systems programming, ATM and IP networks).

Project activities:

1999 - 2000 Software design and implementation of an ATM/LAN emulation agent for the ESA/ESTEC LAN Interconnection Satellite System.

2000 - 2001 Software design and implementation of the MF-TDMA software for the ESA/ESTEC LAN Interconnection Satellite System.

2000 - 2002 Software design and implementation of MF-TDMA forward link for the LMDS system in the EU project EMBRACE.
