Career
Marcellus Schreilechner attended the technical high-school for electrical engineering, and then went on to study Applied Geosciences at the Mining University Leoben, graduating in 1996. In addition he obtained the internationally recognised qualification as a mountain- and skiguide. In 2007 he finished his PHD in "Sequence Stratigraphy of the Styrian Basin" at the University of Leoben.
He has been working at the Institute of Applied Geophysics since 1998. His main interests include sequence stratigraphical interpretation of seismic reflection data and geological modelling of reservoirs.
