Career

Christian Sommer studied Technical Physics on the Graz University of Technology and graduated in March 2002 with his thesis on optical thick layers in ellipsometry. Afterwards he was awarded a PhD by the Institute of heoretical Physics of the TU Graz for his thesis on the "determination of the optical parameters of anisotropic stratified media using ellipsometric data" at August 2004.
 

Since May 2005 he works as a research engineer at the Institute of Nanostructured Materials and Photonics, JOANNEUM RESEARCH.
