Daniel Steiner studied Economics at the Karl-Franzens-University Graz, including a half-year study abroad at the University of Reading (UK). In 2011 he received a PhD in Economics with his PhD thesis “Domestic Offset Projects in Austria”.
The cooperation with JOANNEUM RESEARCH started in 2005 by preparing the master’s thesis about the inclusion of co-effects for evaluating climate change mitigation measures. Since 2006 he works at JOANNEUM RESEARCH mainly on multidisciplinary questions of the environmental as well as climate and energy policy. This includes in particular:
