Career

Roland Wack studied surveying at the University of Technology in Graz. He wrote a master thesis on the "Verification of digital terrain models from airborne laserscanner data".

Since 2001 he works for JOANNEUM RESEARCH at the Institute of Digital Image Processing and leads projects in the field of terrain modelling and forest inventory from airborne laserscanner data. Furthermore he deals with satellite based vehicle navigation for mobile mapping.
