Die IBC (International Broadcasting Convention) ist die weltweit einflussreichste Veranstaltung im Bereich der Medien- und Unterhaltungsindustrie. Sie bietet ein Forum für alle, die mit der Erstellung, Verwaltung und Bereitstellung von Medieninhalten befasst sind. Jedes Jahr treffen sich CEO von Großunternehmen, Start-ups und Studenten um die neuesten Entwicklungen kennenzulernen, Kontakte zu knüpfen und neue Ideen entstehen zu lassen, welche die Zukunft der Branche prägen. Mit über 50.000 Teilnehmern pro Jahr sorgt sie auch dafür, dass Amsterdam zu dieser Zeit völlig ausgebucht ist.
JOANNEUM RESEARCH - DIGITAL zählt auch heuer wieder zu den über 1.700 Ausstellern, um die neuesten Entwicklungen der Forschungsgruppe Connected Computing für die Qualitätssicherung von Film und Video zu präsentieren. Mit VidiCert bietet JOANNEUM RESEARCH die führende Lösung zur Qualitätskontrolle (QC), die auf die Sicherstellung höchster Digitalisierungsqualität von Film- und Videosammlungen spezialisiert ist. Die umfangreichen automatisierten Funktionen zur Erkennung spezifischer audiovisueller Defekte während des Digitalisierungsprozesses und die hochgradig zeiteffizienten Qualitätskontrollfunktionen ermöglichen kostengünstige und qualitativ hochwertige Digitalisierungsworkflows für Rundfunkarchive, Filmarchive und alle anderen Einrichtungen, die Mediensammlungen erhalten. VidiCert ist in der Halle 7 am Stand 7.D31 zu finden.
DIGITAL präsentiert Lösungen zur automatischen Analyse audiovisueller Inhalte (wie z.B. User Generated Content) gemeinsame mit den Partnern des H2020 Projekts MARCONI. Unter dem Motto „Bring your listeners and radio station closer together” entwickelt das Projekt Technologien, um Konsumenten neue Interaktionsmöglichkeiten rund um Radio zu bieten. MARCONI ist in der Future Zone am Stand 8.F30 zu finden.

JOANNEUM RESEARCH - DIGITAL is once again one of the more than 1,700 exhibitors, presenting the latest developments of its research group Connected Computing in the domain of film and video quality assurance. With VidiCert, JOANNEUM RESEARCH offers the leading quality control (QC) solution specializing in ensuring the highest digitization quality of film and video collections. The extensive automated capabilities to detect specific audiovisual defects during the digitization process and the highly time-efficient quality control capabilities enable cost-effective and high-quality digitization workflows for broadcast archives, film archives and all other organizations that preserve media collections. VidiCert can be found in the Hall 7, Stand 7.D31.
DIGITAL presents solutions for the automatic analysis of audiovisual content (such as user generated content) in collaboration with the partners of the H2020 project MARCONI.
