In addition to the further development of the content, the focus was on dissemination activities. The meeting was also used to visit the production facilities of the partners <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hasslacher.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" role=\"link\">HASSLACHER Holding GmbH<\/a> in Preding and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weitzer-woodsolutions.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" role=\"link\">Weitzer Woodsolutions GmbH<\/a> in Weiz.<\/p>\n<p>The overall goal of champI4.0ns is the (further) development of methods and tools that enable the intelligent and sovereign use of data in production and the clarification of the potential of cross-company data use with the help of demonstrators. The tasks of the Intelligent Vision Applications research group include leading the work package dealing with data security in all UseCases and the realisation of UseCase 3 - Networked data chains in staircase production. In this UseCase, a demonstrator of a staircase sensor will be further developed that enables easy data acquisition on site, works with millimetre precision and ensures secure data communication.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><em>The bilateral flagship project champI4.0ns is jointly funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmk.gv.at\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" role=\"link\">Austrian Federal Ministry for Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology<\/a> (BMK) and the German <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwk.de\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" role=\"link\">Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection<\/a> (BMWK) (FFG funding number 891793). Over a period of four years and with a total volume of EUR 8,613,396 (or a funding amount of EUR 5,467,935), the consortium of 18 partners is working on sustainable innovation at the interface between the timber industry and data science.
