Currently uniting 123 companies from 17 countries, it operates over 81,000 km of toll roads. The organisation promotes exchange and collaboration in the fields of road safety, financing, digitalisation, and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">During his talk titled \u201cSustainable Road Infrastructure Financing\u201d, the CFO of ASFINAG, Herbert Kasser, presented ASFINAG's financing model and its future investments in the area of \u201cSustainability &amp; Multimodality\u201d. In the <strong>Session \u201eRoad Safety \u2013 Reaching Zero. What needs to be done and how?\u201d<\/strong>, <strong>Matteo De Padova<\/strong> from Milano Serravalle presented AKUT\u00ae, a system for the rapid detection of tunnel incidents, which is a crucial step towards reducing the impact of accidents in tunnels.
