Kongress

This event is part of the 3rd Krems Dementia Conference organised by the Human Factors Lab of JOANNEUM RESEARCH DIGITAL. Due to the positive feedback about last year AIDEM (link, youtube) we decided to pursue with this format.

The Symposium investigates the emerging use of AI-enabled intelligent assistive technologies (IAT) available to caregivers and older adults with cognitive deficits and explores the challenges in socioeconomic status and technological literacy as well as ethical and legal implications that should be considered in the design and development of IAT for older adults with cognitive deficits. Drawing from existing state-of-the-art, AIDEM will suggest novel technologies and services for the design and adoption aimed at increased and equitable access for this vulnerable population.

The event includes outstanding keynote speeches from stakeholders in technology, science and healthcare as well as state-of-the-art scientific presentations and a company-driven demonstration session.
