EIT Manufacturing opens the CLC East in Vienna

Numerous guests of honour attended the opening of CLC East. JOANNEUM RESEARCH is a member of this knowledge and innovation community for the manufacturing sector.

EIT Manufacturing sets out to make Europe the innovation leader in the global production and manufacturing industry.

On 14 March 2022, the Co-Location Centre East (CLC East) was officially opened. EIT Manufacturing East GmbH (CLC East), one of the 5 Co-Location Centres of the EIT Manufacturing Knowledge and Innovation Community, is located in the Seestadt Technology Centre in Vienna, Austria. CLC East serves 12 countries in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

 

Harald Mayer from DIGITAL and Prof Dr Michael Hofbaur from ROBOTICS were on site for the opening ceremony.
