When it comes to the restoration of important German films, ARRI Film & TV Services rely on "DIAMANT-Film Restoration". Films from the Wim Wenders foundation like for example "Aufzeichnung zu Kleidern und Städten", "Bis ans Ende der Welt" and "Alice In The Cities" have successfully been restored with "Diamant".

The DIAMANT-Film restoration software is a system to process high quality film material independently from the resolution. The system especially distinguishes itself due to its ability to automatically detect and remove most damages. The algorithm behind the system was developed by the research group <link>Audiovisual Media of DIGITAL. Since 2001 the partner HS-ART has been marketing the software worldwide. The algorithms are constantly being refined by JOANNEUM RESEARCH to deliver optimal results with the ever growing resolutions possibilities.

DIAMANT-Film Restoration is successfully being used in film archives, post houses, studios and laboratories all around the world.
