Media Technology by DIGITAL at US Broadcast Tradeshow NAB

DIGITAL presents metadata extraction, quality assessment and restoration services together with their partners

Automatically extracted metadata help in content search, content clustering for reuse and archive optimisation

Results from three ongoing projects at DIGITAL will be showcased by their partners at the US broadcast tradeshow NAB in Las Vegas (April 9-12, 2018):

Automatic metadata extraction tools for audiovisual content developed in the ReCAP project (Real-Time Content Analysis and Processing), will be shown as part of the product preview on the booth of the Austrian company ToolsOnAir. DIGITAL provides a set of visual analysis algorithms for this solution.

The AVEROS project develops automatic web-based media restoration services for non-expert users. The service will be presented at the booth of Cube-Tec International. DIGITAL contributes automatic visual restoration algorithms as the basis for the service.

The Hyper360 project develops innovative solutions for the production of 360° video content, including interaction possibilities. The progress of this recently launched project will be presented by Mediaset. DIGITAL contributes automatic audiovisual quality assessment and a virtual director for guided camera paths through the 360° scene.
