Operational results of the Q/V band satellite ground station in Graz/ Austria

The paper summarizes the results of the first 2,5 years of operation of the Q/V ground station in Graz / Austria. The experiments were performed on Alphasat under ESA contract using the Aldo Paraboni Payload on-board. The paper presents consolidated results on the dimensioning and operation of this technology demonstration Q/V Band system, including ACM strategies and other fade mitigation techniques.
