Since decades the research group Space and Communication Technology holds one of the top positions at Austrian contributions to the European Space Agency ESA, with focus on satellite telecommunications and navigation.
To support our successful research group at our location in Graz, Austria, we are filling a position in the field of
Signal Processing/Software development.
We are addressing current challenges in the field of localization:
- Enhancement of availability, accuracy and robustness through multisensor solutions
- Searching for solutions for current weak spots of GPS/GNSS (jamming and spoofing, multipath)
Your range of tasks will focus on the following
- Software development in the field of satellite navigation and localization
- Development and implementation of solution approaches in C++ and Python/MATLAB
- Conducting experiments with evaluation and validation of the results
We expect a subject-specific degree given by a University of Applied Sciences or University of Technology. We are looking for someone with programming skills in C++ and Python / MATLAB, a very good knowledge of the basic principles of natural sciences (mathematics, physics or signal processing) as well as sufficient English language skills for documentation und professional conversation. Personal initiative, an independent and goal-oriented way of working together with strong communication skills and team spirit complete your profile.

This position is subject to the Austrian collective agreement for employees in non-university research and remunerated with a minimum gross salary of € 3,053,- payable 14 times per year (aliquot). Depending on your qualifications and experience, higher remuneration is possible.
