JOANNEUM RESEARCH has gained great experience in international project management by handling research and development projects with partners in many countries including USA, Canada, Brazil, Libya, Ivory Coast (Africa), Russia, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. Strong international interest exists for issues such as securing the availability of fresh water supplies, using highly technical measurement instrumentation such as the 2D-Video-Distrometer or verifying the effectiveness of pharmaceuticals.
