VidiCert, the versatile solution for efficient audiovisual quality and content QC, applicable to video and film archive digitization, production and delivery workflows, is now available with lots of new features as VidiCert 4.0.

Features presented the first time at IBC include a set of novel picture quality detectors for luminance range, luminance and chrominance gamut/clipping errors, black bars, VITC discontinuities, macroblocking and for dust & dirt level.
The user-interface provides new functionality for interlaced video playback, zooming and configurable audio output – all of that without the need for expensive SDI equipment.
Support for further video and movie formats is available, e.g. AS-11 and ProRes.

ICoSOLE developed a platform that enables users to experience live events which are spatially spread out (e.g. festivals, parades, marathons or bike races) in an immersive way by combining high-quality spatial video and audio and user generated content.
At IBC 2016 the ICoSOLE project partners presented new innovations in live control of multipanoramic camera systems and mixing of content captured by theses, a state-of-the-art video encoder.
At the same time the panoramic cameras were installed at Leffingeleuren music festival (Belgium) where the project held its final field trial. The cameras were remotely controlled directly from (and the content streamed to) the booth at IBC.
