The Diversity - Unit is responsible for the implementation of equal opportunities and diversity within JOANNEUM RESEARCH with regard to gender, age and ethnic origin. This includes measures such as gender trainings, advice on the integration of gender into the preparation of research proposals, the development of support tools for integrating diversity into the core processes of the organization (e.g. implementation of gender-sensitive recruitment guidelines), cyclical monitoring of human resources data as well as the implementation of the mentoring program.


The Diversity - Unit is led by Helene Schiffbänker PhD, and supported by a diversity Team, made up from Members of all institutes.
