Within the scope of the project "FUTURE OF LIFE - 150 Years Lichtenfelsgymnasium", Mag. Andreas Türk, head of the LIFE research group International Climate Policy and Economics welcomed 14 students of the Ursulinen High School in the Science Tower on 27.03.2019.

During their visit, the students were given an overview of renewable energy technologies and their implementation worldwide and at EU level in recent years. Furthermore, new technologies as well as trends for the next years were presented. Andreas Türk also informed about the current electricity markets along with some new concepts that are expected by 2030. The students showed great interest especially in technologies that play a role in so-called Local Energy Communities.
