Within the framework of the JustFair project, Sebastian Seebauer and Claudia Winkler of the LIFE Institute are conducting research on social vulnerabilities in natural hazards. They analysed essential parameters and impacts on buildings, social and psychological vulnerability indicators of affected groups but also the flood vulnerability of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The corresponding research results were recently presented online by Sebastian Seebauer at the European Conference on Flood Risk Management 2020. The elaborated policy recommendations are available at this link (German).
