EMERGE: 2nd Call for Proposals launched!

JOANNEUM RESEARCH MATERIALS is a partner in the EU-funded EMERGE project. Within the project, the second call for the realization of projects in the field of sustainable, flexible and large-area printed electronics and photonics was launched on September 01, 2022.

About the project EMERGE

EMERGE, which stands for Emerging Printed Electronics Infrastructure, is a European project offering free-of-charge open access to a world-class infrastructure platform for research on sustainable and flexible large-area printed electronics and photonics (FLAPEP). 11 RTOs from all over Europe, including JOANNEUM RESEARCH, have joined forces to support and promote the research work of external users and enable innovations along the entire FLAPEP value chain with

  • modelling and design,
  • functional green materials,
  • 2D / 3D printing,
  • large area micro/nanopatterning,
  • applications like printed & flexible electronics, biosensors & diagnostics, flexible energy solutions & nanogenerators.

EMERGE aims to connect scientific excellence and technological knowledge to the FLAPEP ecosystem and provide researchers, SMEs and industry with a broader, easier and more efficient access to the best infrastructures.

Open calls for proposals are launched every three months and applying is easy and can be done online. For more details see https://emerge-infrastructure.eu/apply-for-innovation/second-call-for-proposals/
