Every year at LOPEC, the trade fair for printed electronics, the "OE-A Competition" honours innovative products in the field of flexible, organic and printed electronics.
At this year's LOPEC, JOANNEUM RESEARCH MATERIALS and its partners won the category "Best Publicly Funded Project Demonstrator" for the "Smart Ski", successfully developed within the Smart2Go project.
The "SmartSki" are designed to collect data directly on the slope while skiing using our already patented PyzoFlex® technology. As a result, it is possible to gain completely new insights into the performance of the ski directly during a downhill run. This provides valuable data for both the manufacturers of the skis and their users.
