As part of the 2nd level course "Master in Robotics" Paolo Gallina, Professor at the Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Trieste, and the master's program participants visited the Institute ROBOTICS. Along with other scientific institutions and robotics companies, ROBOTICS is cooperation partner in the new Master's programme at the University of Trieste. The teaching modules led by Dr. Michael Hofbaur and Dr. Mathias Brandstötter dealt with topics in the field of sensitive robotics and their use in human-robot cooperation. Moreover, the workshop focused on the application of mobile robot systems. In addition to imparting theoretical knowledge, the agenda included hands-on exercises with the robot systems available at the institute, in particular with the sensitive mobile manipulator "CHIMERA".
