Working with complex metadata schemata is often challenging, as the richness of these specifications allows for differences in interpreting their semantics. This is especially important when exchanging metadata documents between systems. Automatic semantic validation can support users in handling such documents and ensure interoperability. JRS has an exisiting framework for semantic metadata validation. The task is to implement constraints and rules for further metadata formats (e.g., EBUCore, LIDO).
