Sensor data fusion for analysis of crowd movement and density in huge events


The primary goal is to develop a data fusion framework that allows interpreting the current state of crowds in huge events in respect of density and movement. Therefor a number of sensor types and actual implementations have to be assessed to evaluate the expressiveness of their measurements for data fusion. The framework shall be able to notify human operators and/or prediction software modules about the current situation as well as about the quality and reliability of the information it produces.
