Using the coupled model, different spatial levels \u2013 from individual neighbourhoods to entire regions \u2013 can be evaluated in terms of mobility impacts.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the methodological foundation of the planning process, the project also focuses on standardising data collection and management, thereby increasing the degree of digitalisation in the city of Villach. During project implementation, it will be determined which data are needed for specific purposes and how these can be collected by cities in a cost-efficient manner.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is to support decision-making on a variety of measures through modelling, enabling a more efficient and sustainable allocation of resources at both planning and administrative levels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Another key outcome of ViMoPlan will be a <strong>practical guideline<\/strong> for other municipalities and cities facing similar challenges, enabling them to carry out future transport studies more efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>The project is being carried out by a consortium consisting of PLANUM (consortium lead), the City of Villach, the Bernard Group, VKFG Villacher Klimafit GmbH, and JOANNEUM RESEARCH \u2013 LIFE.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Im Zentrum des Projekts steht die Entwicklung eines Verkehrsmodells f\u00fcr die Klimapionierstadt Villach, das zwei bestehende Modellierungsans\u00e4tze \u2013 ein aggregiertes und ein agentenbasiertes Verkehrsmodell \u2013 kombiniert.
