Michael Pravits (<a href=\"https:\/\/auva.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AUVA<\/a>) illustrated in his presentation \u201cColleagues made of steel\u201d how important clear safety concepts and trained employees are for human-robot collaboration.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joanneum.at\/en\/personen\/di-dr-michael-rathmair\/\">Michael Rathmair<\/a> (JOANNEUM RESEARCH ROBOTICS) provided an outlook on the upcoming revision of ISO 10218 and emphasized that standards should be understood as paving the way for innovation. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joanneum.at\/en\/personen\/diin-clara-fischer\/\">Clara Wiederschwinger-Fischer<\/a> (JOANNEUM RESEARCH) presented the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joanneum.at\/robotics\/en\/projekte\/safeiverse\/\">SAFEIVERSE<\/a>, which shows how robotics can also promote inclusion\u2014for example, by safely integrating people with disabilities into production processes. Kevin Fischer (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eed-automation.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EED-Automation GmbH<\/a>), which demonstrated in a specific use case how safety solutions are implemented in real manufacturing environments.<\/p>\n<p>The participants were then given a tour of the laboratory, where they were able to experience the latest robot systems and safety mechanisms live and learn about the research results of JOANNEUM RESEARCH ROBOITCS.<\/p>\n<p>The event provided an ideal platform for exchange and networking.
